White Chocolate Pecan Bars

I got this recipe from my friend Anna and ended up making it multiple times throughout the Christmas season. I love finding new easy pick-up desserts and this one was quite the crowd pleaser. Warning - the dishes aren't very fun to clean, spray the pan well before pouring batter in! Other than the dishes, this recipe is easy peasy.

White Chocolate Pecan Bars
1 package (12 oz) white chocolate chips, divided
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups AP flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can (14 oz) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped peans, toasted
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Grease (well!!!) a 9x13 baking dish. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of the white chocolate chips and butter. Stir in flour and baking powder until blended. Stir in eagle brand milk, pecans, egg, vanilla, and remaining chips.

The mixture will be thick. Spoon mixture into 9x13 pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut and serve.
