Noonday Summer Sale

The Noonday Summer SALE is happening now! The sale has a little bit of everything - bags, necklaces, earrings, scarves, bracelets, belts, and more! Two of my favorite earrings from our Ethiopian line are included in the summer sale. These first earrings have been really popular! They have been among my top sellers list at each show. And the Zeway earrings are one of my personal favorites.

Normally $42, on SALE for $29.99
Normally $30, on SALE for $19.99
In the mountains of Northern Ethiopia, farmers supply local bead makers with artillery shells discovered on their lands following former war conflicts. The village artisans melt down these shells using ancient techniques to create delicate beads. The final handcrafted beads are sent to the women of Entoto Mountain, who create the jewelry you now wear. Remnants of former weapons of conflict are now upcycled pieces of redemption.

My Best Friend's Wedding

This weekend my dear friend Lacey got married. My heart was so full all weekend, thinking of this sweet couple tying the knot. It is impossible to put in to words how much Lacey means to me. We have been best friends for the last 9 years, and we lived together all four years at Auburn. All of my best high school and college memories include her. Her influence in my life has shaped who I am today. She is the sweetest friend...and Sam is the perfect match for Lacey. Their love for each other is strong and deep, and I could not have been more excited to see them begin their lives together. This weekend was such a special time of celebration. Now, prepare for picture overload. If you don't want to see tons of pictures, stop here. And just know, that these pictures are the highlights. I took 200! Friday morning we kicked off the wedding weekend with the Bridesmaid's Lunch. My mom hosted the luncheon with two other moms, and they did a wonderful job! The food and company were both perfect!

Grandmother of the bride and Mother of the bride.

Susu is no doubt the hostess with the mostess! Later that day it was time for the rehearsal. We practiced at Heartwood Hall, then went to the Morton Museum in Collierville for dinner.

The Beach House loves the bride!
Saturday morning we arrived at Heartwood Hall bright and early to start getting ready. The wedding was at 10:30 in the morning.

Lacey was absolutely stunning!

10:30 snuck up on us! Before we knew it, it was time to head outside for the ceremony.

 Sweet baby Curtis!
Lacey is quite the planner. The wedding had tons of details! They had a brunch reception with all of Lacey's favorite breakfast foods. It was so unique and delicious! The reception was inside, but outside the barn there were all sorts of different yard games to play.

They gave Ugly Mug coffee as favors. So cute and SO good. We enjoyed our coffee this morning!

First dance - "Hung the Moon". So sweet!
 The MOODYS :)

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Moody! We are BEYOND excited for you!

Strawberry Nutella Muffins

These muffins are my new "go to" treat for girl's weekends. Strawberry + doesn't get much better than that!
Here is a secret...There is no need to ever buy buttermilk for a recipe. You can make your own buttermilk substitute by combining regular milk with vinegar or lemon juice. It is 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (or vinegar) per 1 cup of milk. This recipe called for 1/3 cup of milk, so I added one tsp. lemon juice and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Unfortunately, Lulu was my taste tester for the first batch. I was so excited when my friends walked in the door, that I forgot I left the muffins out to cool. We headed out to dinner and I didn't think of the muffins again...until we got home. She left one muffin perfectly on the plate. Which means she ate 11 muffins + the paper liners. I had a mild panic attack, but it all worked out. She had a bit of a stomach ache the next morning, but bounced back relatively quickly. Luckily, this recipe is really easy and quick, so I was able to make another batch for us to take to the beach the next morning.

Strawberry Nutella Muffins
Recipe from Two Peas & Their Pod
1 & 1/2 cups AP flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1 large egg
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/3 cup nutella

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line muffin tin with paper liners.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar.
3. In a small bowl, combine canola oil, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla. Use a fork or whisk and stir until well combined.
4. Incorporate the wet ingredients into the flour mixture. Add slowly, stir gently. You do not want to over mix. The batter will be thick. Gently, fold in the fresh strawberries.
5. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter. Next, add a small spoonful of nutella to each muffin cup. Cover the nutella with the remaining batter.
6. Bake for 17-20 minutes, or until muffins are golden brown. Test with a toothpick. Remove from the muffins from the pan and let them cool.
