We had a wonderful Easter. We got to celebrate with Fletcher's family and with my sister's family. It was so wonderful that we got to be with both sides of the family, and I appreciate Fletcher's mom hosting all of us. We didn't get a picture of the whole group, but we got a picture of half of us.
The little man kept everyone entertained after lunch while we watched the Master's. I love this sweet little boy so much!
My contribution to lunch were these Strawberry Tarts. I found them on the Storywood blog and was itching to try them.
I had a little bit of trouble with the shells. I ended up baking them 10 minutes less than what she said. Other than that they were pretty simple! I will be making them again for sure. I love desserts with strawberries this time of year. We enjoyed gathering with family and eating great food, but the profound message of Easter is what we celebrate with joyful hearts.
"Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty for our sins. It was an infinite sentence, but He must have satisfied it fully because on Easter Sunday he walked out free. The resurrection was God's way of stamping PAID IN FULL right across history so that no one could miss it." - Tim Keller
Thankful to celebrate a Savior who came to Earth to live a perfect life that I could not live and pay a debt that I could not pay.
