Weekend Picture Review

This weekend was the first weekend Fletch and I have both been off work and both been in town since July! It was a great weekend of laying low and catching up on some much needed R&R.

One of my favorite things about the weekends are waking up slow and enjoying multiple cups of coffee. Eli enjoyed his Saturday morning coffee too!

Saturday afternoon we went to pick up our new puppy! Her name is LuLu and she is a goldendoodle. She is a sweet little mess! Most of the weekend after that involved playing with her!

Saturday we went over to Sarah and Tom's to catch the second half of the Auburn game...proud that we won, even if it wasn't the world's most exciting game.

Smores after the Auburn was the perfect night to be by a fire!

All in all it was a perfect weekend! We napped, we ate yummy food, and we enjoyed time with friends and family!

Recipe + Update

There are lots of exciting things happening around here. Time is flying and I'm wishing it would slow down a little bit! The most exciting piece of news is that my sister and her family have moved here! It has already been so fun to have them and they've only been here a few days. Fletcher and Matt are working on all sorts of boy projects and Ab has been helping me cook! By helping I mean that I hold the sweet baby and stir a pot every once in a while and she pretty much does everything else.

Boys projects = things like building a fire in the backyard and burning things while we work on dinner...

This week we tried a new recipe that I found on pinterest.

Cook the chicken then mix together chicken, swiss cheese, red pepper, onions, mayo, bacon, dijon mustard, and Italian seasoning mix. The recipe calls for laying out the crescent rolls on a pizza pan, but I couldn't find mine so we did two small crescent braids instead of one big ring.

Bake at 375...the recipe said 20-25 minutes but ours was ready in about 15 so just watch it.

Bacon Crescent Ring
2 tubes crescent rolls
chicken, cooked and cubed
1-1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup finely chopped red pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
6 bacon strips, cooked and cut up into pieces
2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning Mix

7 Years and 27 days in the making...

This weekend was quite the celebration. After 7 years of dating Sarah Beth and Tom tied the knot. It has been such a blessing to be a part of their relationship over the last few years and I couldn't be happier for them. They are such a sweet couple, they know how to love each other and everyone around them so well. The weekend started off with a Bridesmaids Brunch in Franklin.

Next, was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at The Factory in Franklin.

Saturday we got up and got ready. Before we knew it it was time to get on the trolley and go take pictures.
The ceremony was so sweet. Tom was so awe in of Sarah Beth as she walked down the aisle. I think every single bridesmaid was in tears. Tom was beaming through the entire ceremony. It was evident throughout the whole weekend how much they loved each other and it was such a joy to be a part of their special day!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Hadzor! I can't wait to experience married life with y'all in Birmingham!
