We went to the lake with Fletcher's family for the 4th of July and it seemed like the perfect occasion to try a new recipe...
First, you combine peanut butter and softened butter. Then add powdered sugar and brown sugar and mix. Scoop the peanut butter mixture in between two pretzels. Once you've done that, freeze the pretzel sandwiches for 30 minutes.
Once the sandwiches are firm, you can begin to melt the chocolate chips using a double boiler. I unfortunately heated the chocolate too quickly and had to start over and heat slowly, stirring constantly.
Once the chocolate is melted dip pretzels, then set back on the baking sheet. Put pretzels back in the freezer for 30 minutes. Then refrigerate until serving. I always love the salty + sweet combination and this recipe was a hit!
