The Rehearsal Dinner...

I felt weird the whole week of my wedding because I didn't feel like I was getting married. I kept texting my married friends and saying, "Is it normal that I don't feel like I'm getting married?!" But for some reason when I put on my dress for the rehearsal dinner (thank you allison for finding my dress online) it all felt real. It was so exciting to see all my friends at the rehearsal and to see how it was all going to come together.

The Rehearsal Dinner was at Memphis Country Club and it was so fun! I think rehearsal dinners are one of the best parts of weddings. It was both humbling and touching to hear people say such sweet things. Kree and SB of course had a clever toast, which can be read here. And so many other friends had such thoughtful toasts! Thankfully, my brother-in-law had a video camera, so we will be able to remember the sweet toasts forever! Also, Fletcher's Aunt Ann had put together an incredible slideshow that was so fun to watch. Memphis Country Club was just a perfect venue because it didn't feel too crowded, but it felt like everyone got to be close at the same time. We had steak, shrimp, twice baked potatoes, salad, rolls, and bread pudding. It was such a special time with our close friends and family and it meant so much to us for everyone to be there to celebrate with us!

  1. I loved your rehearsal dinner! It is my second favorite memory of the weekend. Second only to the moment when Hunter said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
